Hi, I’m Evelyn Harrison, the author of the series, ‘A Tale from Willow Green Village’. All for the Love of Josie, is not only the first book in the series, but it is also my very first novel.
When I look back to my youth, I clearly remember sitting in an English lesson at the age of eleven, and thinking that one day I will write a novel. Well, fifty years later, with a husband and three children, who have now flown the nest, (the children not my husband) I finally began to write. In my head, I had built up this image of my family being full of emotion at finding my manuscript in some rusting box, after I had died. Well I’m still here, and delighted that my book has actually been published! Yes, dreams can come true.
Having spent the majority of my life living in the English countryside, a village location was an obvious backdrop for my books. Imagine if you will, your idyllic village in the south of England and I believe the fictional community of Willow Green, would fit the picture very nicely, very nicely indeed.
